Then we have the perfect opportunity for you as Vice President of Solid Dosage Forms, Finished Products in our Emerging Technologies area.

 

The Position

As VP, Solid Dosage Forms (SDF), Finished Products (FP), you will lead and manage the global produc-tion of Novo Nordisk’s key oral products from our site in Målev, Denmark, which handles the packaging and warehousing of these products.

Reporting into the Corporate Vice President of Emerging Technologies, SDF Operations, and heading up the SDF FP production unit in Denmark, you will set the strategic direction for the area focusing on performance, quality and environmental management, as well as people and resource management. It will be your responsibility to establish and maintain world class level production and packaging, launch and supply oral drug products to the market, as well as to ensure optimal resource and capacity utilization. You will be expected to safeguard quality while driving the area and investment budgets to ensure a continuous optimisation of the organisation.

The position requires strong collaboration with key stakeholders across various departments in Novo Nordisk and external contacts. Managing a team of three direct reports you will be responsible for continuously optimising the organisation by effectively leading and setting direction for the area. Focusing on a common strategy, you will establish and maintain a clear organisational structure, as well as develop and manage your team’s performance.

This position is based in Målev, Denmark.

 

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will need to have a master’s degree in Natural Sciences or related relevant field, with proven managerial experience.

 

We are looking for candidates with +10 years of leadership experience in positions within Product Supply, Operations or Manufacturing, and a deep understanding of Packaging processes in the pharmaceutical space. You must have strong cross-functional teamwork experience and excellent communication skills to work closely and effectively with your team, key stakeholders, upper line management and external part-ners.

 

Leadership is key to success in this role, as you will set the direction and mobilize a large organization through change, complexity and ambiguity. You will be expected to have the ability to delegate and em-power front line managers while keeping a strong hold on performance and development, all aligned to the Novo Nordisk Way. Additionally, a proactive, innovative, and analytical mindset is highly valued, as is the ability to understand and manage stakeholder relations effectively.

 

About the Department Novo Nordisk Emerging Technologies, Solid Dosage Forms (SDF) Operations department is part of our Product Supply, Quality and IT organization, and is responsible for the global market production of oral

products that help patients living with type 2 diabetes and other serious chronic diseases. SDF Operations employs about 1500 colleagues across our sites in Denmark, US and Ireland.

 

Our tableting and packaging facility in Målev, Denmark covers Tablet Production, Blistering, Packaging and Warehousing within the Finished Products area. About 250 high performing colleagues are employed in this area, thriving through a pioneering spirit and an innovative mindset to ensure Novo Nordisk contin-ues to best serve our patients.
