Your impact begins here As CMC Specialist for Analytical Execution & Technology, you will strengthen the analytical methods that underpin the quality and performance of Novo Nordisk's drug products. Working within CMC Analysis & Characterization, you will lead scientific problem-solving, advance chromatographic and dissolution methods, and drive improvements in method robustness and data quality. Your expertise will shape how analytical challenges are resolved across the portfolio — creating tangible progress for people who depend on our medicines.
What you'll bring • A PhD or master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering or another relevant natural science discipline. • At least six years of experience in analytical development or a quality control environment. • In-depth expertise in chromatographic methods, including UPLC and HPLC. • An innovative and proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge established practices and advance method- and quality-related investigations. • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders, including Analytical Development, project offices and Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs. • Strong communication skills — you can convey complex scientific insights clearly to diverse audiences and influence decisions through evidence-based reasoning. • Fluency in written and spoken English. On a personal level, you thrive in a collaborative scientific environment while confidently taking ownership of your area of expertise. You step forward when leadership is needed, adapt quickly to evolving priorities and data, and inspire others to engage with and act on your ideas.
What you'll do You will deliver high-quality analytical outcomes and strengthen the methods that support Novo Nordisk's product portfolio. Your work will include: • Providing subject-matter expertise in chromatographic methods, including UPLC and HPLC, as well as dissolution testing. • Leading scientific troubleshooting and root-cause investigations to deliver timely, reliable analytical results. • Challenging established approaches and driving improvements that strengthen method robustness, efficiency and data quality. • Developing and updating analytical method strategies, including study plans, acceptance criteria and approaches to data interpretation that support differentiated quality. • Mentoring and guiding colleagues and laboratory staff on experimental approaches, data interpretation and problem-solving. • Collaborating across the value chain with experts in Analytical Development, Quality Assurance, Drug Development, CMC Pilots and quality control laboratories to translate analytical requirements into validated, high-quality methods.
