Category:  Research
Location:

Måløv, Capital Region of Denmark, DK

Are you a scientist with talent and ambitions in ADME and LC-MS bioanalysis? Are you passionate about making a difference in our patients’ lives with your expertise? Then, this is your opportunity to join the Discovery ADME department in Research and Early Development at Novo Nordisk in Denmark.

The position
Your goal will be to develop advanced and robust LC-MS analytical methods for the bioanalysis of different molecular formats such as proteins, peptides and small molecules, as well as biomarker analysis. You will provide expert ADME support to research projects to help guide and ensure the optimisation and selection of compounds with the desired ADME properties. ADME contributions could be but are not limited to, metabolic stability assays, metabolism ID and plasma protein binding. You will be responsible for driving the development of novel bioanalysis methods and ADME science. In addition, you will be involved in digitalization of laboratory workflows and FAIR data principles.

The research work is organised in multidisciplinary cross-functional project teams in which you will represent the department. You will collaborate closely with project teams, department scientists and laboratory technicians. Furthermore, you may expect some interactions with CROs. The working environment in Global Research Technologies is dynamic and innovative and involves interactions with colleagues from global research sites, with an excellent opportunity to establish a strong scientific network.

Qualifications
To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:

  • A PhD or a Master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, analytical chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry, or related disciplines with relevant experience from industry or academia.
  • Strong background in LC-MS and ADME science/assays.
  • In-depth knowledge of separation techniques and sample preparation techniques used for biological samples. Knowledge of liquid handlers and automated workflows is a plus.
  • Experience with bioanalysis of different molecular formats such as proteins, peptides and/or small molecules.
  • Experience and/or a strong interest in data science, digitalisation of laboratory workflows and application of FAIR data principles.

As a person, you are curious and thrive working in an advanced laboratory setting. You take initiative and possess a team-player mentality. You are self-driven, enjoy responsibility for complex tasks and excel in prioritization. You have a strong commitment to innovative solutions as well as high data quality. Your passion for science inspires those around you.

The seniority level of the position will be decided based on the chosen candidates’ qualifications and experience. We welcome people of all experience levels to apply and grow with us.
