Ready to take the next step at Novo Nordisk? If you already work with the equipment agenda and want greater ownership, join us as Senior Equipment Responsible to drive lab automation (robots), UHPLC, and core lab infrastructure, setting direction across analytical equipment and balance compliance between GMP and GSP. You’ll coordinate closely with stakeholders across CMC to keep deliveries on track. If “unordinary drives change” resonates with you, this role turns that mindset into tangible impact.

Your new role

As Senior Equipment Responsible you will be the backbone of our laboratory and drive a wide range of tasks such as:

  • Drive the full equipment lifecycle: identify, implement, qualify, and own key platforms (UPLC/HPLC, lab automation/robots, core lab infrastructure).
  • Maintain and optimize analytical equipment performance; secure uptime and method robustness; troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance and data integrity across workflows (GMP/GSP, QMS, EHS/OHS)
  • Drive process optimizations.
  • Plan, coordinate, execute, and report project work; contribute to Health Authority documentation and QC method transfer/validation.
  • Coach and mentor chemists and technicians on equipment, cGMP, lab IT, and best practices; uphold good housekeeping standards.
  • Drive cLEAN improvements and cross-functional collaboration with CMC Development, QA, and Product Supply; engage vendors and consultants.

Your new department

In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

You will be part of our analytical development laboratory in CMC Analysis and Characterisation in Novo Nordisk. The department is responsible for both development and validation of UPLC/HPLC analytical methods and QC release of products for preclinical and clinical trials. You will work in close collaboration with the rest of the equipment team consisting of two Equipment Responsible and four Equipment Technicians.

Your skills & qualifications

We welcome applicants who are excited by analytical equipment and automation, improving lab practices, and bridging science with compliance. Even if you don’t match every point, your potential and curiosity matter.

  • Knowledge or experience with equipment maintenance, preferably analytical laboratory equipment such as UPLC/HPLC
  • Experience within qualification and metrology
  • Curiosity towards improving our labs and securing up-to-date way of working with maintenance, data and system-methods through continuous improvements
  • Experience to navigate the interface between GMP and non-GMP tasks.

As a person you have a positive approach towards change, and you challenge the status quo.
