Senior Digital Product Specialist
Måløv, Capital Region of Denmark, DK

Bridge science and technology in a role where your work directly supports more than 200 researchers, laboratory technicians and veterinarians conducting in-vivo research across three continents. In this 12-month temporary position, you will strengthen a global research platform, drive user adoption and see the tangible impact of your contributions every day.
Your new role
You will join a small, dedicated team with a broad remit and visible impact, operating and improving LARA, a cloud-based software platform that supports in-vivo research across Denmark, China and the US. Your focus will be on strengthening LARA's scientific capability, driving product adoption, supporting its global users and ensuring continuous improvement across the platform's full lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for LARA users, helping scientists, laboratory technicians and veterinarians resolve complex user and operational issues, and escalating technical matters to the IT team and vendor when needed
- Driving user adoption through developing and delivering training, user guides and fostering a user community, both in person and online, so users can work effectively on the platform
- Reviewing platform updates before release to ensure they accurately reflect research workflows, and creating clear documentation including tailored release notes that fit Novo Nordisk processes, for users and support colleagues
- Evaluating and optimising LARA's technical configuration and integration, proactively proposing relevant features and efficiency adjustments to the development team
- Identifying and implementing practical improvements to processes, data quality, workflow consistency and the user experience across all global sites
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, vendors and partners to ensure alignment and secure buy-in throughout the product lifecycle
- Supporting colleagues by sharing knowledge on maximising the potential of the platform and related digital solutions
Your skills & qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will bring a scientific perspective, strong product thinking and a genuine enjoyment of turning user needs into practical solutions. We are looking for someone with:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in pharmacology, biomedical sciences, veterinary medicine, life sciences or another relevant scientific discipline, combined with 4+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical setting
- A sound understanding of research workflows and in-vivo laboratory operations, with experience using and ideally configuring software in a research, development or manufacturing environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Danish, with the ability to translate complex user needs into clear documentation and training
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a complex global environment, aligning cross-functional stakeholders with a structured, improvement-oriented and pragmatic approach to solving problems
- Formal IT training is not required, but it is an advantage if you enjoy working with software configurations, scripting languages (e.g. Python or R) or have experience building dashboards, for example in Power BI
Your new department
In Research & Development, you'll be part of a unit that explores bold scientific ideas and advances them into clinical testing. We combine curiosity, AI tools, and human data to develop transformative therapies. Through collaboration and operational excellence, we shape and deliver an innovative pipeline to meet future patient needs.
Within R&D, you will join AI & Digital Innovation, the team responsible for LARA, a cloud-based platform that enables consistent, high-quality in-vivo research workflows. The team is small, but its remit is broad, supporting more than 200 users globally and continuously improving how the platform serves the science it enables. You will play a hands-on role in keeping this critical research tool running smoothly and evolving to meet the needs of scientists, laboratory technicians and veterinarians across Denmark, China and the US.
