Your new role:
This is a 12-month temporary position, offering the opportunity to contribute to key activities within assay development and outsourcing.
The position is in the ligand-binding assay (LBA) area, which consists of 26 highly skilled scientists and technicians across two departments, each led by a manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring outsourcing of our PK and biomarker assays to Contract Research Organisations (CROs).
Your key responsibilities include:
- Identifying suitable CROs for assay outsourcing
- Setting up contracts for validation of assays
- Ensuring transfer and validation of assays from Novo Nordisk to CROs

Your new department
Our area, Non-clinical and Clinical Assay Sciences (NCAS), is responsible for pre-clinical and clinical bioanalysis of new pharmaceutical drugs, including immunogenicity and biomarker analyses, and supports the entire drug product portfolio of Novo Nordisk. NCAS is part of Global Research in R&D.
NCAS includes scientists, automation specialists, and laboratory technicians across four skill areas. We have a strong collaborative atmosphere and share laboratory facilities that house a range of state-of-the-art techniques, including ligand-binding assays such as Gyros, LOCI, MSD, and LC-MS assays.
NCAS is a GLP/GCP regulated area and operates as a highly digitised and automated laboratory environment. Our area is part of the R&D organisation and is located in Måløv.
Your skills and qualifications
Ideally, you will bring with you:
- A Master’s degree within Life Science (e.g. Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience within a relevant field, preferably with experience in development and validation of bioanalytical methods (LC-MS/MS or immunoassays such as Gyros, ELISA, MSD, LOCI)
- Insight into clinical development from an outsourcing management perspective, as well as knowledge of regulatory guidelines and GLP/GCP principles, is an advantage
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to build productive relationships in a multidisciplinary environment

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 570,200.00DKK to 838,100.00DKK corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
