The position

As our new experienced specialist, you will play a pivotal role in leading product and process development to secure optimal pharmaceutical characteristics and stability. You will become overall responsible for projects within one of our drug modalities in the pipeline, strengthening our way of bridging knowledge between projects and foresee future formulation challenges across the portfolio.

 

The job offers the opportunity to be responsible for:

  • Setting the scientific direction withing drug product development of at least one of the above mentioned drug modalities. Working in close collaboration within a team of scientist, lab technicians and specialists to set the direction for designing, interpreting, and reporting studies on drug products
  • Mentoring our highly skilled scientists whenever unforeseen issues occur and when new strategies for the modalities is to be settled
  • Define strategies for   documentation for internal and external use including clinical trial applications and patent applications
  • Interacting with a wide variety of internal stakeholders, e.g., Global Research, Regulatory affairs, Quality Assurance and Analytical Development

About the department

Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Injectable Formulation & Process is part of CMC Product & Process Development. Our department develops formulations and production processes for injectables biopharmaceutical products. We have approximately 85 employees organised into five teams. The department is situated in Måløv, we manage projects from early stage (phase 1-2) to late-stage (phase 3-PV) development.  Our projects include GLP-1 products, insulins, monoclonal antibodies, mini binders and oligonucleotides.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role you:

  • Hold a PhD within Pharmaceutical science, Engineering, or another relevant field within natural sciences
  • Have minimum 6 years of working experience within one of the above mentioned molecular drug modalities and gained in-depth knowledge of working within R&D or drug product development
  • Have a high level of energy to drive activities and engage your colleagues forward
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English
     

Apart from that you are result-oriented and help set our scientific direction, you inspire and motivate your colleagues with a positive, forthcoming attitude. You work well independently, although you enjoy collaborating with colleagues, CMOs and biotech and academic partners. .
