About the department

The Department of Stem Cell Biology is a dynamic, technology-driven department, and part of Cell Therapy R&D; a Transformational Research Unit (TRU) within Novo Nordisk. The TRU combines access to in house generated clinical grade cell lines with extensive in-house research facilities, GMP manufacturing sites and translational teams to facilitate end-to-end thinking from bench to marketed product, reaching people with serious, often life-threatening diseases. It also relies heavily on long term collaborations with external, often academic partners like Medizinische Hochschule Hannover. Working in Novo Nordisk’s Cell Therapy R&D organization means to work at the cutting edge of translational stem cell research and with a high degree of autonomy and empowerment in your daily tasks.
