Do you want to be a key player in Drug discovery research? Formulation & Delivery department in Måløv, Denmark, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated colleague who share our ambition to develop the new pharmaceuticals which will help us improve the quality of life for patients around the world

 

Your new role 

As a scientist in Dep. Formulation & Delivery, you will design and perform experiments that directly support research and drug development by applying your expertise in molecular characteristics, formulation and biophysics. You will have a high degree of independence and flexibility within the project framework and collaborate closely with colleagues across departments in Denmark and at our international research sites. Your work will focus on generating high‑quality experimental data, interpreting results to drive project decisions, and contributing to continuous improvement of laboratory methods and technologies.

Main tasks:

  • Plan, execute and evaluate experiments according to project needs, ensuring rigorous design and reproducible results.
  • Perform independent experimental work and interpret data to provide clear suggestions for next steps, alone or in collaboration with senior colleagues.
  • Ensure high quality in all laboratory procedures and that data and results are managed in accordance with Novo Nordisk and regulatory standards.
  • Support implementation of emerging technologies, automation and workflow improvements.

 

Your skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role, you:

  • Hold a relevant MSc or PhD degree in Life Sciences (pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, or other relevant discipline)
  • Have knowledge of liquid formulation and characterisation
  • Understand automation and digitalisation
  • Have a knowledge of biophysical technologies including chromatography (as a plus)

Your new department

Formulation & Delivery is dedicated to delivery of formulations of all molecular modalities for preclinical studies within all therapeutic areas in Global Research. We utilise the most advanced biophysical and pharmaceutical technologies to achieve quality in what we deliver. We work closely together with scientists in pharmacology and technology inside Novo Nordisk as well as with both industry and academic partners outside Novo Nordisk.
