The position
We are looking for a seasoned Director to head up the Integration Management of manufacturing capacity acquired within Product Supply Emerging Technologies.  You will lead an integration management program from the line of business side in collaboration with our central Business Integration colleagues. The position does not entail direct line management responsibilities.

 

Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
•    Lead the integration from ‘day 100’ to the implementation of the target operating model. 
•    Take part in sign-to-close IMO activities and day-1 operation model activities.
•    Act as liaison from the IMO towards the acquired site.
•    Serving as the central point of coordination for all integration activities for the program.
•    Collaborate with executive leadership and functional teams to develop and execute integration strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
•    Establish and manage integration governance, processes, and best practices to facilitate seamless integration of acquired entities.
•    Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional integration teams, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and timely delivery of integration milestones.
•    Monitor and report on integration progress, risks, and issues, and provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

 

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
•    Program Management: Coordinating various aspects of the integration process, ensuring timelines are met, and managing resources efficiently.
•    Pharmaceutical Industry value chain knowledge: A deep understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain processes is vital for making informed decisions.
•    Strategic Business Acumen: Understanding a company's internal workings, incl. organizational structure and financial aspects, coupled with a broader awareness of industry dynamics.
•    Basic Deal/M&A knowledge: Understanding of M&A principles and processes.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

 

About the Department
You will join the ET Business Integration department referring to the VP of the area. We are responsible for due diligence and integration of both corporate assets and brownfield carve-out acquisitions within Novo Nordisk’s emerging technologies. You will join a team of very experienced senior project managers and project directors with experience from both pharma production and M&A activities. We work closely with stakeholders in the central business development functions, with CMC and with our central staff functions to ensure effective integrations of new products and new facilities.
