About the department

The Department of Research Bioanalysis is situated within Global Research Technology in Maaloev, Denmark, and currently comprises six laboratory technicians, eight scientists, three associate scientists, and students. Our department is at the forefront of analyzing peptides and proteins in biological samples from animals (primarily plasma) and cell cultures. The data form the foundation for PK profiling and the assessment of the pharmacological effects of novel compounds. Our department offers support during the early research phase across various indications, including diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases. We are committed to expanding the use of automated analytical instruments and IT tools for sample and data management, which is required to refine workflows that span multiple departments.
