Pilot Scientist, Isolator Filling

Are you experienced within aseptic production and isolator filling, and motivated by bringing new technology into operation? We are looking for a strong technical profile to support the implementation and operation of a new isolator-based filling line in our Aseptic Pilot Plant for clinical production.

Your new role

You will join our Process Support team and play a key role in supporting the implementation of a new isolator filling line and ensuring a smooth transition into operations.You will work closely with specialists and a cross-functional project team, contributing with your expertise in aseptic processing and isolator technology.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to performance verification of a modular isolator filling line across multiple formats
• Supporting development and optimization of aseptic filling processes
• Performing risk assessments and contributing to process design decisions
• Developing and maintaining GMP documentation, including GMBRs in SAP/PAS-X
• Collaborating with project stakeholders to ensure operational readiness of the new line
• Supporting daily production and troubleshooting on the shop floor once the line is in operation

This is a hands-on role where you will both contribute to implementation activities and be involved in daily operations.

Your new department

You will be part of the Process Support team consisting of 24 colleagues working across wash & sterilisation, environment, formulation, filling, and inspection. We operate at the interface between development and production, supporting clinical manufacturing (phase 1–2) in a highly dynamic and GMP-regulated environment.

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for an experienced profile who can contribute from day one and bring solid experience within aseptic production.

You bring:

• A Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, or similar
• +5 years of experience within aseptic production. Hands-on experience with isolator-based aseptic filling is required
• Experience working with GMP and process documentation (e.g. SAP/PAS-X is an advantage)
• Strong technical understanding of aseptic processes and production environments
• Ability to work independently and contribute to complex technical tasks
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across functions
• Fluency in Danish and English

Salary:  For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 570,200.00 to 838,100.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
