The position is a 12-month temporary position.
The position
As our new Manager in CMC Bioanalysis, you will lead an analytical team of 22 highly skilled Laboratory Technicians and Scientists focused on developing innovative analytical methods for products from Phase 1 to submission. Team Binding Assays develops immunoassays for monitoring of process related impurities of drug candidates, and support process development.
Your key focus will be to provide direction for your team in the development of analytical methods, supporting our stakeholders with analytical results, and promote a culture of continuous innovation.
You will be an integral member of our management team in CMC Bioanalysis, 1 department head and 2 other Managers. We are a collaborative group that meets weekly, supports one another, and frequently engages in constructive discussions on the leadership agenda.

Qualifications
You hold a master’s degree in science within Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a similar field. This could be your first manager position, but experience from the pharmaceutical industry is a plus (preferably from e.g. project leading role).
Furthermore, the ideal qualifications are as follows:
- You work in a systematic and structural way, and you can maintain a broad overview.
- You know the value of earning trust and respect from colleagues and employees and know how to motivate your employees in a busy and changing workday.
- You have a good business understanding and can easily establish a network across the organisation.
- You have good Danish and English communication skills.

The department
The department, CMC Bioanalysis, is part of the newly established area CMC Analysis & Characterisation (AnaC), anchored in CMC Product & Process Development organisation. AnaC is responsible for designing and developing analytical methods, including characterisation, bioanalysis, stability, comparability, release and in-process testing. CMC AnaC are present from late research through lifecycle management across the entire product portfolio.
CMC Bioanalysis consists of approx. 65 employees located in Måløv. The department is involved in early and late-stage drug development with emphasis on analytical development of new entities moving through clinical phases.
