Laboratory Technicians for Drug Product Development
Måløv, Capital Region of Denmark, DK
Laboratory Technicians/Advanced Laboratory Technician
CMC Drug Product Development
Location: Måløv
Your impact begins here
The medicines of tomorrow depend on the formulation work we do today. We are looking for two Laboratory Technicians at different experience levels to join our Drug Product teams and help develop stable and robust injectable formulations for clinical trials. Whether you are building your experience or already bring strong laboratory expertise, you will work hands-on with scientists and project teams to move new medicines closer to the people who need them.
What you'll do
You will support the development of injectable formulations for clinical trials, with a strong focus on practical formulation work rather than analytical testing. Your working days will be varied and dynamic. As priorities can change throughout the development process, adaptability and a willingness to take on new tasks will be important for your success.
Depending on your experience, your scope and level of independence will vary. You will:
- Prepare and execute formulation experiments for stability studies in close collaboration with scientists
- Prepare protocols in English and perform accurate calculations for experimental setups
- Create batch records and stability studies in globalLIMS
- Support the planning and execution of formulation activities across clinical development projects
- Contribute to reliable day-to-day laboratory operations and continuously improve how we work
What you'll bring
For both positions, you will bring an education as a Laboratory Technician, Technician or equivalent. You also bring:
- Good numerical skills and confidence in performing accurate calculations
- A structured approach with strong attention to quality and accuracy
- The ability to communicate in both Danish and English, written and spoken
- Experience with formulation work or globalLIMS would be an advantage but is not required
As a person, you bring a positive and collaborative mindset to your work. You build strong relationships, contribute actively to the team and help create a supportive and engaging working environment. You are curious, take ownership of your work and enjoy collaborating with others.
For the more experienced position, we are additionally looking for someone who can bring greater independence and experience to the team. You may also support less experienced colleagues by sharing your knowledge and experience. Finally, you are comfortable taking ownership of more complex laboratory activities, identifying and resolving issues and contributing to improvements in our processes and ways of working.
Who you'll work with
You will join Chemistry, Manufacturing & Control (CMC) Drug Product Development in Måløv, where we connect research with the development of injectable medicines for clinical trials and future customers. You will work closely with scientists, fellow laboratory technicians and project teams across the development organisation. Our area brings together approximately 200 colleagues, including around 50 laboratory technicians, creating a strong environment for sharing expertise and learning from different perspectives.
We work with openness, curiosity and respect for each other's expertise. Different perspectives help us solve problems, make better decisions and move our projects forward together.
What you can expect here
At Novo, your expertise matters. You will have the opportunity to develop your laboratory skills, learn from experienced colleagues and contribute directly to the development of medicines that can improve people's health.
You will be trusted to take ownership of your work while being part of a team that succeeds together. By bringing your skills, curiosity and attention to quality to the laboratory every day, you will help transform science into progress for the people we serve.
