Your new role
As a Lab Technician in Chemistry, Manufacturing & Control (CMC) Analysis and Characterisation (AnaC), you will play an important role in turning scientific insight into real-world impact - helping ensure that only safe, genuine products reach patients.
You will:
- HPLC & LC‑MS Analysis: Run HPLC analyses and LC‑MS characterisation of active ingredients and related impurities across the clinical pipeline.
- Laboratory Techniques: Use a wide range of specialised chromatographic techniques, Ion chromatography (IC), Charged aerosol detection (CAD), Fluorescence detection (FLD) and spectroscopic methods.
- Data Generation: Generate critical data that helps prevent illegal and dangerous copy products from entering the market – protecting patients and supporting trust in medicines.
- Impurity Testing: Support formulation work and investigate process-related impurities (e.g., host cell proteins) to help process development teams design robust purification strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across the organisation to deliver high-quality, reliable analytical results.
- Skill Development: Expand your analytical skillset by working with additional specialized techniques within the department.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Lab Technician who has:
- Experience with HPLC, LC-MS, or other chromatographic techniques preferably from a pharmaceutical setting
- Strong English skills and preferably also proficiency in Danish.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a changing environment – where priorities may shift as you go
- A genuine curiosity to learn and continuously grow your competence across analytical techniques
Your new department
CMC Development's role in Novo Nordisk's value chain is to turn molecules into approved products in close cooperation with our colleagues in R&D and Global Manufacturing & Supply.
The AnaC department is a specialised team located in Måløv. Our mission is to characterise Novo Nordisk products across the entire portfolio, from preclinical development through commercialisation. We also support marketed products and ensure GMP compliance for commercial activities.
Our Mass Spectrometry team focuses on characterising active ingredients and related impurities, supporting formulation work, and guiding process development areas with advanced analytical insights.
The department is also proud to house Novo Nordisk’s competence centre for NMR and other highly specialised analytical techniques, fostering a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere where innovation thrives.

Salary and Benefits: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from DKK 499,600 to 734,400.00, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
A competitive benefits package is offered, including a pension scheme (currently 13% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution) in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement for salaried employees (Industriens Funktionæroverenskomst or “IFO”). Benefits package also include a free choice account of 11% and 4% holiday allowance.
