Your new role

In this lab-based role, you will be working with a wide range of state-of-the-art biophysical characterisation methods to support research projects across multiple therapeutic modalities. You will work in close contact with join a dynamic team where science, collaboration, and innovation are at the core of everything we do.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with techniques such as light scattering, chromatography, SAXS, NMR, DLS, nDSF and related methods
  • Preparing and characterising liquid drug product formulations, including stability testing
  • Collaborating closely with scientists and fellow laboratory technicians on research activities
  • Implementing new technologies and developing methods aligned with departmental needs
  • Contributing to optimisation of workflows and routines to ensure high throughput and efficiency

Your new department

The Biophysics and Injectable Formulation research area consists of three departments sharing responsibility for biophysical characterisation of biomolecules and injectable formulation development.

We house an extensive portfolio of state-of-the-art instrumentation and automation and are part of the Drug Product Research unit. This unit is responsible for early injectable and oral formulation development and analysis of peptides, proteins, and new therapeutic modalities across the Novo Nordisk research portfolio.

 

 

 

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated laboratory technician who thrives in both independent and collaborative work environments.

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:

  • Are educated as a laboratory technician
  • Have hands-on experience within biophysics and protein chemistry or injectable formulation development of pharmaceuticals
  • Are familiar with several of the above-mentioned techniques, such as chromatography, light scattering, SAXS, and NMR
  • Have work experience within Pharma R&D, which is considered an advantage
  • Have experience in nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR), which is considered an advantage

As a person, you are dedicated, engaged, and proactive. You take initiative and work independently, while also being a strong team player who is motivated to learn new methods and processes. You work diligently, are well organised, communicate comfortably in English, and take pride in delivering high-quality results within agreed timelines.

Salary and Benefits: The Annual Base Salary ranges from 437,600 to 643,200 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate's skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

 

A competitive benefits package is offered, including a pension scheme (currently 13% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution) in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement for Salaried Employees (Industriens Funktionæroverenskomst or "IFO").

 

The benefits package also includes a free choice account currently with 11% and 4% holiday allowance.
