Bring your laboratory skills into the heart of analytical development.

Play a key role in developing innovative pharmaceutical products by supporting analytical method development for our clinical portfolio. As a Laboratory Technician in Chemistry, Manufacturing & Control (CMC) Analytical Development, you will work closely with scientists and fellow technicians to ensure robust analyses, high quality, and strong process understanding across projects.

You will join a scientifically strong and collaborative environment where innovation, quality, and a clear “can do” mindset drive our work. Help bring breakthrough products through clinical trials and towards the market - and turn innovative science into medicines that make a real difference. Apply now.

Your new role

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of a dedicated development team supporting products from pre-clinical stages through clinical trials (Phase 1–3). You will work closely with scientists and fellow laboratory technicians in a collaborative, high-performing environment where analytical excellence and continuous improvement are key.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing laboratory work related to analytical method development, primarily within (U)HPLC and dissolution
  • Supporting development and optimisation of analytical methods for clinical products
  • Troubleshooting analytical methods in close collaboration with scientists
  • Ensuring high-quality data generation and documentation in accordance with Good Scientific Practice (GSP)
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the department and wider Novo Nordisk organisation

The role is well suited for both experienced laboratory technicians and those early in their career who are motivated to grow within pharmaceutical analytical development.

Your skills & qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have an education as a Laboratory Technician and bring a strong interest in analytical development within the pharmaceutical industry.

Ideally, you also have:

  • Experience with chromatographic analytical methods such as UPLC/HPLC
  • Experience working with analytical method development and operation in a pharma setting
  • Curiosity and motivation to develop and apply up‑to‑date analytical methods
  • A proactive and positive mindset towards change and continuous improvement
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, enabling effective collaboration in an international environment

On a personal level, you are a team player who thrives in a dynamic setting, enjoys collaboration and is flexible when working across different projects and priorities.

Your new department

You will join CMC Analytical Development, part of the CMC Analysis & Characterisation (AnaC) organisation. AnaC is responsible for designing and developing analytical methods across the product lifecycle, including characterisation, stability, release and in‑process testing.

Located in Måløv, Greater Copenhagen, the department serves as a critical link between Research and Global Manufacturing & Supply, supporting development from early stages through Phase 3 clinical trials and registration.

You will become part of a department of approximately 90 colleagues, organised into four teams working within GSP. The culture is open, collaborative and scientifically strong, with a shared focus on quality, innovation and customer satisfaction.
