The position

The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct quantitative bioanalysis of our drug candidates, including proteins, peptides and other drug modalities, using LC-MS. You are also expected to assist in the development of novel LC-MS methods, critically analyse and interpret experimental data and prepare clear and well-documented reports and presentations. In addition, you proactively identify and resolve experimental issues, take interest in identification and progress of novel technologies and perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting as required. You will work closely together with a research scientist and other technicians on a day-to-day basis, supporting projects in the early research phase.


Qualifications and relevant skills

  • You hold a technician degree.
  • You have a strong commitment to high quality analysis, data handling, documentation and reporting.
  • Practical experience from an industry or academic setting working with LC-MS bioanalysis would be an advantage.
  • Experience with biomarkers, automation technologies and data science would be an advantage.
  • On a personal level, you like to step out of your comfort zone and continuously challenge yourself, and you have a can-do attitude and are a problem solver. You find it easy to build relationships between team members and gain recognition amongst stakeholders with your enthusiasm, proactiveness, integrity, and communication skills.

About the department

The Discovery ADME department is part of the Assay, Analysis and Characterisation area within Global Research Technologies, and is responsible for bioanalysis, ADME, and biomarker support using LC-MS based method in the early discovery phase of our research projects. You will join a department of dedicated scientists and laboratory technicians involved in the discovery and development of proteins, peptides and other molecular modalities for treatment of diabetes, obesity, haemophilia and other serious chronic diseases. We are located in a state-of-the-art R&D facility in the Greater Copenhagen area.

In your daily work, you will collaborate closely with department scientists and laboratory technicians. The working environment in Global Research Technologies is dynamic and innovative and involves interactions with colleagues from research sites in the US and China.
