The position
As our new Junior Project Controller, you will be managing financials within larger investment projects.
 
Your day-to-day areas of responsibilities include:
•    Developing, creating, monitoring, and executing cost controls.
•    Focus on cost management, planning, project resources, purchase orders, progress reports, forecasting, and risk management.
•    Supplement your business/finance/accounting knowledge with broad technical knowledge within pharmaceutical production, which will help you in your daily work.
•    Build a broad network in Novo Nordisk with regular contact with many different areas of the business to govern solutions within the projects.
•    Support the Project Controlling and Governance team with ad-hoc tasks.
 
Qualifications 
You hold a master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Project Management, or Business and it will be an advantage with practical cost controlling and/or project management experience.
 
Ideally, you have:
•    Basic knowledge in executing step-by-step cost controlling.
•    Experience in creating and forecasting project budgets/cost.
•    Previous experience from working in a GMP regulated industry is a plus but not required.
•    Fluent in spoken and written English and good communication skills. Danish will be considered highly beneficial but not a requirement.
 
It would be seen as an advantage if you have gained experience within a pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry, as well as having an understanding within construction projects for building facilities and purchase of major equipment. 
As a person, you are curious to learn and attentive to details. You are structured and can work independently across a broad stakeholder landscape. Your structured approach and detail orientation allows you to maintain a broad overview while keeping an eye for the details. You like to work in project environment, where plans can change from one day to the other. You are curious, have a critical sense, and are able to collaborate effortlessly with everyone. You have a flair for translating complex issues into communication and presentations, easily absorbed by upper management.  

 

Please note that due to the international nature of the role, some travelling might occur during the year.

About the department
You will be part of the Project Controlling & Governance (PCG), residing in the Emerging Technologies Expansions. The team consists of 4 dedicated colleagues located in Måløv/Taastrup that are responsible for supporting major investment projects, within project controlling and governance.
