The position 

As an H&S Partner, you will act as an advisor to management, securing we are working within Danish legislation, and you will play a key role in ensuring that our workplace meets the highest safety standards. This can be done by coordinating H&S activities across Novo Nordisk Site Måløv and Site Hillerød, and creating and promoting a strong safety culture by implementing and developing safety initiatives. 

Your primary responsibilities will include:  

  • Ensuring proper handling of work permits, including risk assessment before, during, and after the work is performed. 
  • Educating and training employees and managers on safety procedures and policies 
  • Monitoring safety standards and reporting on safety-related incidents and areas for improvement. 
  • Working closely with various teams to ensure an integrated approach to safety across the organization 
  • Advising on renovations/new constructions to ensure top safety during these activities

Qualifications  

As a successful candidate, you have relevant education in Health & Safety or similar, and have minimum 5 years of experience in Health & Safety coordination, preferably from a similar position. 

We imagine that you have the following qualifications: 

  • Strong insight of work permits and risk assessment 
  • Experience in creating and implementing safety cultures in larger organizations 
  • Good communication and collaboration skills 
  • Proficiency in Danish and English 
  • Ability to work independently and take accountability for your own tasks 

 

About the Department  

You will be part of the Service Centres department in Corporate Facilities, consisting of over 60 dedicated colleagues in charge of the operations and maintenance of non-GxP Black utilities, interior building maintenance, and hard FM services across all Danish sites. We are expanding our footprint to support Novo Nordisk’s growth journey. Our Manager will play a key role in driving this expansion at the Bagsværd site and potentially other sites, working closely with key stakeholders and other lines of business. 

Corporate Facilities consists of approximately 350 colleagues from various fields and is anchored within Finance, Legal, and Global Solutions. We enable Novo Nordisk to focus on its core business by delivering simple and agile solutions for physical infrastructures such as campuses, properties, utilities, and workplaces. In addition, we offer facility management services and security operations. We continue to develop and maintain a large project portfolio and create tangible business results by partnering with all areas of the company. What we do affects all of Novo Nordisk's Danish colleagues. Our employees are given significant tasks from day one, providing them with a steep learning curve where their ambitions set the limits.
