The position 
Your key responsibilities will include:   

  • Engaging with media involvement, managing social media platforms, and coordinating the organization's participation in conferences and events, e.g. narratives, presentations, and animations
  • Building up external relationships which may include working with communication agencies, suppliers, and vendors
  • Driving internal and external social media engagement for the Chief Scientific Advisor as well as the development of communication content for internal presentations and conferences

 

This is a 1-year position with the potential for extension.

Please note that you will have to join our team on-site once or twice per month in Bagsværd. 

 

Qualifications 
To be successful in this position we expect you to have: 

  • Master’s degree in journalism, marketing, public relations, English, a related communications discipline or a scientific background 
  • Around 3-5 years of experience within the field of communication 
  • Proven experience in event planning and driving various forms of content creation internally and externally
  • Experience with and passion for advising senior leaders in complex organisations around communication
  • Pharmaceutical or biotechnology communication experience is an advantage but not a requirement

 

On a personal level, you have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management. Additionally, you demonstrate adaptability to keep pace with changing industry trends and audience preferences. Finally, you have great teamwork and collaboration skills with a positive attitude even with high pressure and you thrive in a changing environment.

 

About Novo Nordisk Research & Early Development Chief Scientific Advisor Office
The Novo Nordisk Chief Scientific Advisor for Research and Early Development is led by Lotte Bjerre Knudsen, who has worked on inventing and advancing transformational GLP-1-based treatments for the past 35 years. The team consists of 5 experts, an executive assistant and a project manager, and leads various tasks related to the GLP-1 biology and change leadership. Lotte Bjerre Knudsen has a strong external profile based on her scientific leadership as well role modelling DEI and women in science.
