About the department

Oral Finished Products Production (OFP production) is a department that performs all processes from receiving raw materials to shipping the final product, packaged and ready for the customer.

In 2004, Novo Nordisk initiated the ambitious and pioneering work of being the first company to offer a GLP-1-based oral alternative to type 2 diabetes patients worldwide. In 2019, we received the first approval to launch our GLP-1-based tablet in the market, and we are already represented in the US, EU, and other parts of the world. Now, the demand on our products is increasing, and we need to add capacity in our processes. Every day, we do our best to optimize and develop our products to help even more patients worldwide, and in the Warehouse Project & Improvement team we implement automated processes in our warehouses as part of our IntraLogistics journey.

The position

As Automation and Validation Engineer in the Warehouse Project & Improvement team, you will participate in projects covering changes in existing equipment or when introducing new equipment.

In the role you will have responsibility for:

  • Validation  of automated solutions – using a Science and Risk-based Validation (SRV) approach.
  • Preparation of validation documentation for both low and high complexity equipment
  • Contribute to maintaining compliance across the department.

In our Warehouse Project & Improvement team, we are currently represented by both academics and operators. We believe that relationships, collaboration, and well-being are key to success. We value mutual respect and elevating each other via good teamwork and believe that the sum of our collective work is greater than the individual parts. In addition, taking ownership of our work is not just words we value on a poster but something we embody every day in our offices and production sites. Lastly, we strive for simplicity in all our processes and welcome all inputs to achieve this end.

  • Ability to transform technical knowledge into practical solutions.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience within validation and qualification in a GMP environment
  • A track record implementing automated processes in relation to Industry 4.0 or IntraLogistics will be an advantage.
