The position

Our department is commencing a new journey to design and create automated and robotic solutions that can aid laboratories in conducting quality control for Novo Nordisk Emerging Technologies (ET). ET is expanding rapidly in this area and to cope with the increase in demand, we need to optimize and automate our laboratory processes. In this position, you will lead the comprehensive development of automation solutions, beginning with understanding customers' needs, challenging status quo, mapping insights to enhance operational efficiency and generate business impact.

 

In this position you will do the following:

  • Leading project activities with a large range of stakeholders across the organisation
  • Identifying and planning the various project activities from our customers
  • Implementing projects which is identified to support our maximize capacity strategy
  • Discovering innovation solutions in collaboration with your project team and stakeholders
  • Planning and driving performance by monitoring progress, aligning priorities, removing roadblocks, and escalating
  • Improving the way projects are executed by challenging the status quo, identifying process gaps, and ensuring solutions are pursued.

Additionally, new laboratories are being established to alleviate current capacity constraints. Ultimately, our project portfolio aims to implement solutions that enable smarter, more efficient, and more precise procedures to support the swift growth of Emerging Technologies.

 

Qualifications

We are looking for someone that has Project Management experience within projects in regulated environments (GMP regulated), preferable with investments that allows you to manage and drive several projects at the same time and focus on the strategic outlook for them.

 

To succeed in this role, you:

  • Hold a diploma or master´s degree in relevant field (chemistry, engineering, etc)
  • Preferably have experience from a GMP regulated environment (pharmaceutical industry, food, aviation etc.)
  • Have great communication skills on all organisational levels
  • Are fully proficient in professional English

Having prior experience with automation and/or robotics is an advantage.

About the department

Emerging Technologies Manufacturing Development & Quality Control is a new area within Novo Nordisk where the oral portfolio plays a significant role. We are approximately 250 employees, and we are growing. We work with quality control and compliance of the facilities, the equipment, QC lab, manufacturing development as well the release of tablets for the market. We are proud to work in a fast-growing part of Novo Nordisk.

 

As part of Novo Nordisk, we aim to make a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop and manufacture all oral drug products late phase as well as for launch ensuring that we bring best-in-class treatments to the market. Our ambition is to develop break-through products based on orally available versions of GLP-1 and other molecules.
