Your new role

As an Associate Product Operations Director, you will develop and drive best practices within product operations to support a portfolio of digital solutions in the research organisation. Furthermore, you will:

  • Support leadership and the organisation in the professionalisation of our product operations, e.g. by supporting budget management and alignment to portfolio priorities.
  • Drive reporting processes and oversee capacity allocation across the portfolio to ensure maximum impact on business outcomes.
  • Lead portfolio activities to secure stakeholder buy-in and engagement.
  • Assist the leadership team with implementing cultural initiatives to professionalise the organisation.
  • Drive line-of-business-facing digital adoption initiatives.

While the role does not have people leadership responsibilities, you will drive functional leadership of your areas of responsibility.

The in-person position is based in Måløv (greater Copenhagen), with in-office presence four days a week.

 

Your skills and qualifications

Experience and educational background can come in many shapes and forms for the right candidate, so we don’t have any formal requirements for educational background. A typical candidate for this job has a master’s degree within science or business with work experience within digital product development and/or research. We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:

  • Understanding of digital product operations.
  • Experience with financial processes.
  • A strong sense of ownership and motivation to improve the status quo.
  • Pharmaceutical research experience, consulting or Executive Assistant (EA) experience.

You are confident yet open‑minded to alternative perspectives, ensuring decisions are made professionally and constructively and keeping calm and composed when interests conflict. Proactive attitude, structured mindset, and collaborative to innovate and to improve. You excel working independently as well as across larger groups. Finally, you thrive in fast‑moving, high‑visibility environments and drive engagement and positive team culture.

 

Your new area

The Targets & Orchestration team is a newly established team within the area Research Digital Products (RDP). RDP delivers digital products to research to accelerate innovation timelines, to deliver medication to patients faster. RDP is anchored in the SVP area AI and Digital Innovation, that drives digital transformation in Research and Development globally. In our team, we support the digital product teams with best practice operations to ensure we can better manage and improve our product portfolio to maximise business impact. You will be part of a small five-person team but collaborate extensively with the broader organisation. The atmosphere is dynamic and collaborative, with a focus on innovation and excellence.
