The Position

 

As associate manager you will have the opportunity to create your own team. The team will be created when you start and at the beginning it will have around 5 employees. During 2023 the team will grow to 8-10 employees and will increase further in 2024. You will have to gather and create a high-performing and highly motivated team.

 

The main tasks will be to:

  • Drive delivery of business results, resource and stakeholder management.

  • Set the direction for the team and yourself.

  • Lead and develop your employees for growth and high performance, both individually and as a group.

 

As the team will be brand new, your focus is also to build the roles, responsibilities, and tasks within the team as well as the collaboration with other teams and departments. You will need to set structure and secure optimised processes through cLEAN and always keep a strong quality mindset.

Qualifications

 

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • A bachelor or master’s degree in pharmacy, engineering or similar.

  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience as Associate Manager.

  • A solid LEAN mindset and basic GMP skills.

  • Knowledge within qualification, equipment, production or packaging is an advantage, but not a requirement.

  • Fluent in Danish and English both written and spoken.

 

On a personal level you have a positive can-do attitude. You must have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills as the team has a lot of cooperation within the department as well as within the organisation.

 

As an excellent people manager, you’re able to translate strategy into ambitious goals and create a motivated and empowered team with high well-being. As our tasks might be quite complex, you are able to quickly gain overview over possible solutions for problems and consequences, can prioritize and make bold decisions.

 

About the Department

 

The department is newly established and is a part of Manufacturing Development in the tablet area, Oral Finished Products (OFP). The department is a pilot production and is responsible for primary pack of tablets for clinical phase III studies and preparation of new packaging processes for product coming from development.

 

The department consists of an operational and a process support team, and we are now looking into expanding with your new qualification and equipment team. Your team will be responsible for qualification of 2 new packaging lines including equipment responsibility, and environmental monitoring and cleaning. 

 

Our implementation of 2 new packaging lines and moving into a new building, means that we will be working in a project-oriented way for the next years.
