The Position

As an Associate Manager for Maintenance & Calibration, you will be responsible for leading a team of highly experienced and dedicated skilled workers, including calibration support, utility maintenance, and apprentices. Your team will oversee the planning and execution of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and calibration activities across our facilities. Additionally, a key part of your role will be ensuring the right level of support in alignment with capacity expansions.

We continuously optimize our maintenance strategies to balance availability and reliability. Therefore, it is essential that you and your team work closely with other teams to ensure all relevant data and technical knowledge are shared effectively.

You will be part of the Technical Support Leadership Team, which consists of four Associate Managers, a cLEAN Partner, a GMP Coordinator, and a Department Manager. As a leadership team, we focus on seeing opportunities rather than limitations. It is expected that you lead with clarity and transparency, building and maintaining a strong, highly engaged team. You will continuously develop your team and its members to meet future demands while ensuring strong collaboration with our stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you:

- have more than two years of leadership experience

- have a technical background with experience in maintenance or calibration

- have a degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a related technical field

Experience with HVAC equipment, ventilation, monitoring, and regulation of room conditions for pharmaceutical production facilities will be beneficial. Additionally, fluency in Danish and English is required.

As a leader, you are structured, proactive, and quality-oriented. You naturally build strong relationships and foster collaboration across teams. You have a can-do attitude and are motivated by delivering results while also enabling others to succeed. A holistic approach is essential, as your team supports the full value chain.

 

About the Department

Solid Dosage Forms (SDF) Production and Business Support (PBS) is a newly established area within SDF Denmark, consisting of approximately 100 people across two departments. Technical Support is responsible for utility maintenance, spare parts control, and purchasing, while Business Support handles project management, facility operations, sustainability, IT, training, and cross-functional support across SDF Production Denmark. The vacant position is within Technical Support.

Our department has recently undergone changes to align more closely with SDF operations. We are eager to drive a culture of continuous improvement and set a clear direction in key areas, such as sustainability initiatives (Circular for Zero) and optimizing facility operations.
