At Novo Nordisk, we are establishing a new Site Governance Office at our Research site in Måløv. We are looking for an Architectural Engineer/Building Construction Engineer/Architectural Technologist who wants to play a key role in ensuring high quality, compliance, and robust documentation across construction projects and existing facilities.
You will work close to the construction activities while also owning critical engineering documentation and handover processes - bridging projects and operations in a technically advanced research environment.
Your Role
As Architectural Engineer/Technologist, you will be responsible for governance, quality assurance, and documentation of building construction activities at Site Måløv. You will ensure that construction projects and existing buildings comply with Danish building regulations, engineering standards, and Novo Nordisk requirements.
The role supports both new construction projects and legacy facilities, with a strong focus on as-built documentation and structured handover to operations.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Ensure governance and quality assurance of building construction activities
- Ensure compliance with Danish building regulations, engineering standards, and internal requirements
- Own and govern engineering documentation, including drawings and as-built material
- Support standardised handover processes from construction to operations
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality, safety, and compliance
- Act as Novo Nordisk’s technical representative towards contractors and consultants
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, maintenance, and Health &, Safety
Your Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as Architectural Technologist (Bygningskonstruktør), Construction Architect, Architectural Engineer, Civil Engineer, Building Construction Engineer, or similar.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience within building construction or engineering
- Extensive experience with technical drawings, construction standards, and regulatory compliance
- Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments
- Experience with technically complex buildings (e.g. laboratories) is an advantage
Your Competencies
- Strong ability to interpret and assess technical and architectural documentation
- Solid knowledge of Danish building codes and construction regulations
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or similar tools
- Structured and systematic approach to documentation and governance
- High attention to detail and quality mindset
- Fluent in Danish and English, written and spoken
