Your new role
As an Analytical Scientist, you'll play a vital role in advancing our analytical capabilities while working at the intersection of innovation and practical implementation. This 1-year temporary position offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced laboratory environment where your work directly contributes to bringing new treatments to patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing new analytical methods in close collaboration with lab technicians and ensuring seamless integration into daily operations
- Supporting lab technicians as the scientific go-to person for analytical techniques including HPLC/UHPLC and dissolution testing
- Leading the implementation of new solutions and automation initiatives in the laboratory
- Collaborating closely with the development team, various stakeholders, and the Quality Assurance (QA) department
- Contributing to method standardization, deviation handling, change control and laboratory investigations
- Delivering high-quality analytical results on projects spanning from early development to phase 3 clinical trials
- Ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with GMP requirements

The CMC Analytical Execution and Technology department is part of CMC Analysis & Characterisation. We are responsible for delivering analytical results on diverse projects, handling everything from liquid to oral formulations. You'll join one of our 5 Analytical Execution teams within a department of approximately 147 dedicated colleagues. Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a collaborative scientist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the forefront of analytical innovation.
You'll bring with you:
- A master's degree or PhD in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or a similar scientific discipline
- Preferably experience within the pharmaceutical industry working under GMP regulations, with exposure to HPLC, dissolution or Visual Appearance testing
- Strong stakeholder management skills and a natural ability to collaborate with lab technicians as their scientific partner
- A flair for thinking in new solutions and driving automation initiatives
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to create overview and prioritize effectively, even under tight deadlines
- Self-driven and motivated approach with pride in taking responsibility
- Experience with cLEAN, standardization of analytical methods, deviation handling, change control and laboratory investigations is an advantage
