Advanced HVAC Professional
Måløv, Capital Region of Denmark, DK
HVAC Supporter
Global Manufacturing Supply
Måløv, Denmark
Be the technical expert who keeps critical HVAC systems running at our growing tablet production site. This expansion role offers you the chance to build stakeholder relationships from the ground up, act as a trusted advisor in ventilation and air quality projects, and develop independence in a supportive international team. If you have a service mindset and want to be visible and proactive on the shop floor – while coordinating complex technical solutions – this is your opportunity.
Your new role
As Equipment Responsible for HVAC & FMS/BMS systems at Site Måløv, you'll take ownership of critical ventilation systems that support our tablet production. This is primarily a computer-based coordinating role, not hands-on mechanical work, where your ability to plan, coordinate and build relationships will be just as important as your technical expertise.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Equipment ownership of HVAC systems: Own and plan maintenance, improvements, and lifecycle activities for ventilation systems supporting our production areas
- Planning & coordination: Coordinate maintenance, calibration, spare parts, and external/internal craftsmen through computer-based planning and coordination systems
- Stakeholder management: Work closely with production, projects, craftsmen, and other technical teams with a strong emphasis on service mindset – treating stakeholders as "customers" and being proactive and visible on the shop floor
- Project involvement: Act as SME/advisor in projects that impact ventilation and air quality, where HVAC is affected by many projects requiring early involvement and advisory input
- GMP / quality work: Handle deviations, change cases, and structured problem-solving with the lean/engineering mindset expected in our highly regulated environment (largely implicit from education and experience)
After approximately one year, success in this role means you are highly proactive and curious, actively building stakeholder relationships, taking initiative to understand systems, users and production impact, acting as a strong team player in a culture with open and honest technical dialogue, and gradually becoming independent despite a steep onboarding curve.
Your new department
In Global Manufacturing & Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.
You'll be joining the Technical Support department at Site Måløv (tablet production), which consists of 5 teams with around 13 colleagues today, growing to 14 with this expansion role. This is an international and English-speaking team with a great atmosphere and team spirit.
Following recent reorganization within Tablets & Finished Products (T&FP), Production and Business Support (PBS), the department is positioned closer to T&FP Site Måløv and eager to drive an improvement culture with clear focus on areas such as Circular for Zero and operating facilities sustainably. We're a group of people with various backgrounds and seniority levels who share the ambition to support each other, have a good time, and make a big difference for the patients who need our medicine.
Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a service-oriented engineer who thrives on coordination and stakeholder engagement in a dynamic production environment. Mindset is more important than exact title – experience in technical support, HVAC, systems engineering, and service delivery is key. You should bring:
- An engineering degree such as mechanical or civil engineers or another related field
- Preferably 2+ years of relevant HVAC, FMS, BMS, or CTS experience, ideally from GMP or production environments
- Experience in technical support, systems engineering, and service delivery, with comfort in computer-based planning and coordination (not hands-on mechanical work)
- Fluency in English to communicate effectively in our international team
- A proactive approach with strong stakeholder management skills and willingness to be visible and engaged on the shop floor
- Highly proactive and curious, structured and quality-oriented, with the ability to build relationships, take initiative, and become an independent problem-solver in a culture of open technical dialogue
We recognize there's a steep onboarding curve, but you'll have a supportive team committed to helping you succeed.
