Your new role
As a Sr. Validation Engineer, you will be part of a highly specialised team developing and implementing validation strategies for our global aseptic production network. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure robust, compliant, and future-ready solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute global validation strategies, from planning through to verification
- Facilitate workshops with process experts, QA and technical specialists to define requirements and risk assessments
- Collaborate with automation and mechanical engineers to ensure strong documentation and test strategies
- Support validation and implementation activities across global production sites.
- Engage with external suppliers to ensure solutions meet Novo Nordisk standards

Your new department
You will join Manufacturing Technology in Aseptic Manufacturing Technology Development & Innovation, based in Lyngby. Here, you will become part of the Validation & Automation team, an international group of skilled engineers and specialists focused on delivering innovative solutions for aseptic filling processes.
The team works in close partnership with colleagues across engineering, automation, and project management, as well as global production sites. The environment is characterised by knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous improvement, where new ideas are welcomed, and innovation is actively encouraged.
Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who combines technical expertise with a strong quality mindset and excellent collaboration skills.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A MSc or BSc in pharmacy, bioscience, chemical engineering, or a related field
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment
- A structured and detail-oriented approach to your work
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines
- Fluency in written and spoken English
It is considered an advantage if you have experience with commissioning or validation of automated or computerised systems.

What we offer
Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from DKK 651,000 to DKK956,900, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
