The position

As our new Senior Technical Project Manager, you will play a prominent role in Digital, Data & IT Product Supply (DD&IT PS) – Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx) where you will be part of building our new global and digital AP Module and accelerating the implementation in site Chartres, France.  

 

You will be working closely with different key stakeholders both in Novo Nordisk and suppliers to evaluate and enable IT, Automation and digital solutions with a good balance between speed, simplicity and scalability.

 

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Take ownership of the project management disciplines on behalf of IT & Automation 
  • Be the point of contact for IT & Automation in the AP module for the expansion at site Chartres
  • Support the IT/OT Expansion Site Chartres Lead in project management of the AP module standards and execution.
  • Represent AP Module Team within the project management team 
  • Ensure compliance and quality in all parts of the projects

  

You will also be involved with various technology partners (internal and external) and site work package owners. Therefore, this role will require travel to site Chartres around 4 times per year.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's- or master's degree in automation/electrical engineering, electronic and computer engineering, information and communication technology or similar
  • Significant experience in industrial automation projects within pharmaceutical industry, while experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction)  and greenfield projects is a plus
  • Experience in one or more of the following technologies: Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Process Control System (PCS), Internet of Things (IoT), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Industry 4.0 
  • Excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for engaging with stakeholders from diverse areas and backgrounds to co-create solutions that drive value to the company
  • Strong project management skills combined with a drive to succeed, ability to identify problems  and get the overview of scopes quickly

DD&IT PS – Fill & Finish Expansions is a program organisation - built in a multi-dimensional matrix structure, that’s designed to foster cross-organisational and cross-functional collaboration to shape our future.

 

Our goal is to design and build future-proof, global fill & finish production facilities, with a focus on establishing strong foundational IT and automation that will enable these facilities to digitally evolve.

 

As a member of our department, you will work closely with colleagues responsible for processes and engineering, as well as various technology partners both internally and externally.
