The Position
As a Project Scheduler at Novo Nordisk, you will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your role will be within the project organization and you will work alongside a senior environment with enthusiastic, motivated, and dedicated teammates. 
This position will collaborate closely with the core project team, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain project timelines and proactively address scheduling conflicts and areas of risk. You will also be expected to provide guidance and support to project managers on scheduling issues and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
•    Project Scheduling
Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Oracle Primavera Cloud or Primavera P6, aligning them with project goals and client requirements.
•    Progress Tracking
Regularly update and analyze project schedules, monitor progress through KPIs, identify potential delays, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
•    Resource Allocation
Collaborate with project managers and project team members to allocate resources effectively, optimizing workforce productivity and equipment utilization.
•    Contractor-Client Interface
Act as the primary liaison between contractors and clients, ensuring construction schedules align with client expectations and contractual obligations.
•    Reporting
Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and action plans.

 

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with experience in schedule analysis and forecasting. Furthermore, we are looking for a highly organized candidate with a solid understanding of project management. 
We expect you to have the following qualifications:
•    A Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management or a related field
•    5+ years of experience in scheduling, ideally on large CAPEX projects
•    Knowledge of project management and scheduling best practices, methodologies and standards
•    Understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies
•    Proficiency in English both written and oral.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, setting up KPI’s and identifying areas of risk.  In addition, the candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to take the initiative and define new processes, while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and driving projects forward without needing constant supervision.
It is an advantage if you have a Certification in project management (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP)) and experience in construction or manufacturing industry.

You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions, a newly established and growing area within Product Supply, Quality & IT. The Fill & Finish Expansions area is responsible for facilitating a global collaboration around designing, planning, and building major Fill & Finish Expansion projects across Product Supply to meet the needs of millions of patients.
