The position


As our new Contract & Procurement Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the organization’s procurement activities are efficient, effective, and aligned with the business objectives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, and external suppliers to secure efficient contract management, manage contracts and supplier relationship.
 

Your key responsibilities will include:


•    Ensure that the organization obtains the best value for money on all purchases, and develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely delivery of goods and services.
•    Develop and maintain procurement policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
•    Support in creation of project budget and cost forecast, and provide monthly reporting to project management team on procurement status. 
•    Monitor contract performance and compliance and take appropriate action to ensure that all parties are meeting their obligations.
•    Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and mitigate contractual risks.
•    Provide guidance and support to other team members on contract-related matters, and draft contract renewals, extension, and modifications as necessary. 

 

Qualifications:


•    Academic degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field
•    +3 years of experience in contract management & procurement or related field.
•    Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contract law and legal terminology.
•    Experience from a regulated industry, such as healthcare or government contracting is considered a strong advantage.  
•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.

 

As a person, you are highly organized with strong attention to details. You possess the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and you know how to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
