The Position

As a Metrology Engineer in Fill & Finish Expansions, you will play a crucial role within the Operational Standards organization. In the Fill & Finish Expansions program, we are responsible for establishing new production facilities, where we will introduce a lot of new process equipment within Aseptic and Finish production, Intra Logistics and QC labs.

In the Operational Standards organization we are responsible for making common standards for how to operate the new equipment, thereby developing and implementing a common standards for metrology.

We are developing the maintenance plans calibration rationales, by using internal best practice templates and engaging in co-creation with the sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan and execute workshops with all relevant stakeholders to ensure highest quality of calibration rationales.
  • The development of the Calibration rationales for specific equipment and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide guidance to the sites on how to develop the Calibration rationales, by using existing standards.
  • Ensuring the quality and consistency of the Calibration rationales meet the expectations.

The role will require collaboration with our global sites. To facilitate this, some travel is expected, estimated at 2-3 trips per year.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you should have:

  • An academic degree within engineering, life science, be a marine engineer (maskinmester), or have a technical background within metrology.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience from an operations, calibration or maintenance organization from a pharmaceutical production facility.
  • Solid understanding of GMP requirements and the ability to communicate complex content in a simple way.
  • Strong stakeholder skills to work globally.
  • Experience working with SAP, risk assessments, and metrology or instrumentation would be considered as advantage.
  • Project management experience would be considered an asset.

As an ideal candidate for this role, you can communicate fluently in English, both in written and spoken form. You set high standards for your work, and you are data-driven.

You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 28,500 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. We are setting the standards for the future, designing facilities we will still be proud of many decades from now. Fill & Finish Expansions has a global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
