Your Opportunity
We invite you to become a pivotal member of our Technical Pilot Team within the Operational Readiness area. As we embark on the global Future Filling Expansion Project (FFEx), you will play a significant role in supporting and driving the commissioning and ramp-up activities of our advanced Isolator Filling systems.
In this position, you will leverage your technical knowledge to ensure our new Filling Lines achieve excellence and meet capacity goals. You will be directly involved in the commissioning phase, transitioning to focus on ramping up operations efficiently and effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities
As the Filling Lines Engineer or Technician, you will:
•    Lead with Expertise: Serve as the key technical lead and advisor during vendor over-sight throughout the equipment design, build, and test phases, participating actively in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
•    Ensure Success: Take on a important  crucial role in various testing project phases, in-cluding commissioning (SAT), Installation Verification (IV), Operational Verification (OV), and Performance Verification (PfV), PV (Process Validation) and lastly take on a crucial role in Ramp-Up phase ensuring Capacities are meet according to plan.
•    Solve Challenges: Engage in technical troubleshooting of Isolator Filling systems, bringing hands-on experience to swiftly resolve issues.
•    Empower Teams: Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and implement effective training setups for technical operations, ensuring seamless onboarding and continu-ous learning.
•    Drive Improvement: Play a vital role in refining processes, enhancing Standard Oper-ating Procedures (SOPs), and ensuring work instructions are effective for all scenarios.

This exciting position is based in Lyngby, Denmark, with substantial travel opportunities—to vendors in Germany and to sites around the globe, including China, France, Brazil, and the US. Expect to travel approximately 50% of your time, enriching your experience and expanding your professional horizons!

 

Who You Are
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
•    An academic degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering) or several years of technical experience in aseptic filling.
•    A minimum of 5 years of expertise with filling lines, particularly within aseptic filling op-erations utilizing Isolator technology.
•    Experience with Bausch & Strobel, Syntagon, or Optima is essential.
•    Proven project experience, whether introducing new technologies or hands-on work from a technician or maintenance perspective.
•    Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams.

About the Department
Our department Operational Readiness is based in Lyngby Denmark and is situated in the newly created SVP area of Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 28,500 of Novo Nordisk’s 72,000 employees.
 
Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to de-sign, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of mil-lions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. Fill & Finish Expansions has a clear global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
