The Position
As the Director of Operational Readiness FP, you will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of the newly established and future FP manufacturing production sites across the globe. The team sets the strategy and facilitates the global standards development. This is done in close collaboration with stakeholders across the global sites, hence you need to take different perspectives and cultures into consideration, while balancing the individual needs and the overall goal of making shared standards for all. You will collaborate closely with the organization taking over the responsibility for the operation and the central organization maintaining the standards when handed over.
Some of your responsibilities will include: 
•    Setting the strategy with your global counterparts to front load operational readiness activities for a successful ramp-up.
•    Supporting the department with a clear roadmap to succeed, get onboarded and develop competencies accordingly.
•    Establishing a transparent plan integrated in the daily way of working, to ensure timely progress, resource allocation, risk management, etc.
•    Evaluating and adapting project success criteria and initiatives along the program when new insights materialize on how optimal global manufacturing should be facilitated and designed.
•    Engaging with multiple levels of stakeholders and ensuring strong communication of strategy, deliverables and roles and responsibilities.
•    Setting direction, supporting, motivating, and coaching project team members.

The team is located in Lyngby, but the role will require collaboration with our global sites, and some travel is expected, estimated at 2-5 trips per year.


Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
•    Experience with operations in an assembly and packaging production environment, preferably with ramp-up or establish of new equipment.
•    Proven experience in project execution and stakeholder management.
•    Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
•    Ability to analyze and make strategic decisions based on data and insights.
•    Strong LEAN mindset and experience with implementing and sustaining the use of standards.

On a personal level, you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You have strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and coach a team.
 

About the Department
You will be joining Operational Standards in Fill & Finish Expansions, a newly established and growing area within Product Supply, Quality & IT. The Fill & Finish Expansions area is responsible for facilitating a global collaboration around designing, planning, and building major Fill & Finish Expansion projects across Product Supply to meet the needs of millions of patients. We are rethinking our facilities with modern technology and setting the standards for the future. With a global approach, you will work with multiple sites and cultures around the world.
