The position

As a Construction Safety Program Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive global construction safety program, incorporating NN policies, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Drive a network of construction safety professionals from global construction sites, ensuring consistent adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety protocols into construction project plans and activities.
  • Conduct regular safety visits and inspections at construction sites worldwide, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Ensure projects are in compliance with local and international standards, and that NN safety policies and procedures are consistently followed.
  • Provide safety awareness presentations to local construction personnel, emphasizing a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
  • Review investigations into incidents and accidents, analyze root causes, and support the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Stay informed about evolving safety regulations and industry trends, updating NN policies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies and external safety organizations to ensure alignment with global safety standards.
  • Report to management on the progress of projects, issues, or incidents, providing metrics to demonstrate safety performance.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and proven experience in developing and implementing global construction safety programs.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with global teams.
  • Experience conducting safety visits and inspections at construction sites.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Ability to stay updated on evolving safety regulations and industry trends.
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies and external safety organizations.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is a prerequisite.

 

About the department
You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEX), a newly established and growing area within Novo Nordisk. FFEX is responsible for designing, planning, and building all major fill & finish expansion projects across Product Supply, Quality & IT. Our goal is to rethink our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology, setting the standards for the future. With a global approach, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
