The Position 

As a Change Controller in Project Controls, you will support in developing and implementing a change management process for projects. You will establish and maintain change management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. You will be working closely with engineering experts, QA, EHS, process leads and other stakeholders to ensure the change impact is assessed. Collaboration with other departments to ensure that approved changes are properly integrated with other areas of the project will be a part of your daily work. 

 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Ensure effective implementation of engineering modifications, equipment upgrades, facility and process changes across sites through the Change management Process. 
  • Ensure evaluation of proposed changes, by involving controls colleagues in assessing the impact on cost, schedule, quality, and other key project objectives. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that changes are properly documented, approved, and implemented in a timely manner. 
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on the status of change requests and addressing any concerns or issues that arise. 
  • Develop and maintain metrics to track the effectiveness of the change management process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary. 
  • Ability to follow the structured engineering Change Process to govern all Changes related to equipment and facility 

 

In addition to the primary responsibilities of the Change Controller role, you will also be responsible for providing training and support to team members and stakeholders on the engineering change management process. 

 

Qualifications 

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field of engineering.  
  • Between 3-5 years of Change management experience within engineering and construction projects. 
  • Experience with/or insight into documentation and compliance. 
  • Ability to analyze the organizational needs within change management and map and implement processes accordingly. 
  • Experience from the pharma industry or GMP regulated environments would be preferred.  
  • Certification in Change Management (Prosci, CCMP) is considered an asset. 
  • Understanding of CAPEX projects and a background in project management would be considered as advantages.  

 

As an ideal candidate for this role, you can communicate fluently in English, both in written and spoken form. You are a problem solver and have great communication skills. Our stakeholders are key to our success, and we expect you to create great relationships.
