Advanced CFD Engineer (1-year temporary role)

Your new role
As an Advanced CFD Engineer, you will play a key role in driving and executing CFD activities across Aseptic Manufacturing. You will act as a technical authority within CFD projects, support stakeholders in understanding when and how CFD adds value, and contribute to the development of standards and ways of working.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving and executing CFD projects and analyses to support manufacturing, equipment design and process optimisation.
- Supporting the strategic direction for CFD tools, standards and methodologies across Aseptic Manufacturing.
- Acting as a CFD ambassador towards internal stakeholders, production sites and external partners.
- Providing sparring and guidance to project managers and stakeholders on the use and value of CFD.
- Mentoring and supporting junior CFD engineers and colleagues.
Your new department
You will join Aseptic Manufacturing Science and Technology, where we work across disciplines to support and improve aseptic manufacturing processes at Novo Nordisk. The team provides scientific and technical expertise within modelling and simulation, enabling data‑driven and robust decision‑making across projects and sites.
Your primary workplace will be in the Lyngby area, with collaboration across Danish sites and the wider Aseptic Manufacturing organisation.
Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have a strong technical foundation combined with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
We expect you to have:
- A Master of Science in Engineering or similar, with a strong focus on fluid dynamics.
- Solid experience performing CFD analyses and working with a broad range of stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of CFD tools, their strengths and limitations, and how to apply them to real‑world manufacturing challenges.
- The ability to work independently on complex tasks while contributing as a team player.
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and structured approach to problem‑solving.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 570,200.00 DKK to 838,100.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
