Then this is a unique opportunity to join a major investment program in Novo Nordisk as the Director - AP (Aseptic Process) Module Lead towards one of our expansion sites. 

 

The Position 

As a Director - AP Module Lead you have the overall responsibility of ensuring the global facility and process design for the AP Modules is meeting all programme objectives and standards. It is your responsibility to establish the appropriate coordination between the central AP Module team consisting of process and engineering leads as well as equipment standard leads to ensure a fully functioning AP module design is delivered to the expansion sites. 

 

Effective coordination with the expansion sites AP VP/Director, combined with a well-functioning relationship to the central departments of Validations Standards as well as Operational readiness is crucial to ensure each AP module is delivered and ramped up as smooth as possible.   

 

Your main tasks in this role include: 

  • Being a primary point of contact for the expansion site in terms of deliverables from the central teams, with accountability for the delivery towards the sites. 
  • Responsibility for the overall adherence to the schedule for the centrally delivered design elements, main AP process equipment, operational procedures towards the site project which holds the responsibility for construction and procurement of non-standardized equipment. 
  • Direction setting on cross work package flows and interface management to ensure a fully coordinated delivery. 
  • Overall responsibility of the engineering design contracts for the AP module in your location based on standardized design ~€40M (Total project value +€500M). 
  • Ensuring application of global engineering and process standards in AP module designs, overseeing adjustment and modifications with a standardization mindset, while keeping the local execution schedule and  

 

Your workplace will be based in Lyngby, Denmark but as there is collaboration required on a global scale, travel is expected to our other sites. It is estimated that this would be up to 15% of the time annually. 

 

Qualifications 

As a Director - AP Module Lead you are an excellent leader, capable of coaching and building and driving strong and high-performing teams aligned with the Novo Nordisk Way and the company’s vision and values. The job requires a high degree of independence and autonomy, while at the same time rolling out standardized solutions.  

 

To be successful in this position you should have the following: 

  • Minimum 10+ years of project management experience from driving major projects in industries such as pharmaceutical industry, biotech or similar regulated industries, and have an excellent understanding of the operational reality of starting up and operating a GMP regulated facility. 
  • Strong knowledge of the documentation requirements and execution approach to reach key milestones (MC, FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ). 
  • Stakeholder management experience and great communication skills across multiple organizational levels and level of technical understanding. 
  • Proven ability in working within an international or multicultural environment, with the ability to collaborate across multiple countries and adapt to diverse perspectives would be considered as an advantage. 
  • Fluency in Danish, French, Chinese, Italian or Portuguese is a plus.

About the department 

As a Director - AP Module Lead you will report to the AP module Owner who has the overall responsibility for the Global AP module design and governance. You will work closely with the site-based projects across the globe in designing and ensuring efficient project execution of the future factories of Novo Nordisk, all based on a concept of “one design”, replication, and leveraging of both design and CQV related aspects leading into a standardized operating model. 

 

You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 28,500 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients.
