Your new department
Within our Canadian sales organization, you will join a high-performing sales team dedicated to expanding patient access to innovative cardiometabolic therapies. The team operates in a dynamic and competitive environment, combining strong collaboration with accountability and market agility.
Your new role
We are looking for a Sales Representative 2 to cover a predominantly GP-focused territory in Southwestern Ontario (Brantford, Woodstock, Norfolk). This is a 12-month contract role designed for an early-to-mid career sales professional who already understands the fundamentals of pharmaceutical sales and is ready to step into a more autonomous field role.
You will be responsible for driving engagement and performance across your territory during a highly relevant market moment, with the opportunity to gain exposure to blockbuster cardiometabolic brands and competitive market dynamics.
Your key responsibilities:
- Own and execute the sales strategy for your assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with General Practitioners (primary focus) and a limited number of specialists
- Deliver high-quality, compliant product detailing and scientific exchange
- Manage territory planning, account prioritization, and call execution effectively
- Use CRM tools and data to track activity, manage performance, and inform decisions
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and peers to achieve regional objectives
- Navigate a competitive environment with agility and professionalism
Required experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare-related sales
- Proven experience managing a geographical territory independently
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
- Comfort working with KPIs, targets, and basic performance tracking
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the territory
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Nice to Have
- Experience in diabetes, obesity, cardiometabolic or primary care environments
- Experience calling on General Practitioners
- Previous exposure to competitive or changing market landscapes (e.g., generics, new entrants)

Salary: For this role, the annual base salary ranges from $99,890–$149,890. The placement in the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on your skills, competencies, and knowledge, and how your relevant experience matches the position requirements.
Incentives: Based on the role’s level and other factors, the salary package may include short-term (STI) and/or long-term (LTI) incentives.
