The position
The Obesity & Cardiovascular Network Manager will successfully manage Novo Nordisk (NN) Obesity and Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) products at place level (Trust/PCN/Federation) within NHS Integrated Care Systems/Health boards.
This is a promotional role accountable for the commercial performance and positioning of NN products through securing sales and local patient access within the geographical territory of South London. You will report directly to Obesity & CVD Regional Business Manager.
Additionally, you will:
- Secure and expand access for NN Obesity and CVD products at the NHS Integrated Care Systems (ICS) level, working with Trusts, PCNs, and Federations, while developing and executing local market strategies to maximize brand performance and patient access.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare decision-makers, including NHS stakeholders, Integrated Healthcare Managers, and clinicians, while conducting stakeholder mapping to influence prescribing pathways and product adoption.
- Develop and execute robust account plans to achieve sales targets and business growth, utilizing data-driven insights to assess impact, optimize performance, and drive investment efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements, industry standards, and Novo Nordisk's business ethics policies, working within legal and ethical frameworks while upholding ABPI code of practice and MHRA regulations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement effective strategies, drive product positioning, and enhance customer experience, while participating in regional meetings, conferences, and collaborative healthcare initiatives to support business objectives.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you must be ABPI qualified and have a strong interpersonal, collaboration and partnering skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed environment.
You should also have:
- Degree in Science, Business-related subject, or equivalent qualification.
- Good level of experience within the Cardiovascular Therapy Area.
- A proven Market Access experience, securing formularies and developing pathways to maximise prescribing opportunities.
- Outstanding Key Account Management, selling and business planning skills.
- Strong understanding of healthcare landscape, including sound understanding of the NHS (structures, policies, funding streams and processes).
