The position

As a Head of Digital Innovation Hub, you will spearhead the continued development of Novo Nordisk digital partnering capability to drive the implementation of new technologies and ideas in collaboration with the extended digital ecosystem. Your role is pivotal in driving our efforts in the Northwest Europe Region, where you will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to find and develop digital partnership opportunities. You will help shape and secure the implementation of global strategic priority projects, as well as identify locally relevant opportunities aligned with our commercial priorities.

Among your responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Digital Innovation Hub UK, driving innovation and growth by connecting with regional and local business units
  • Implement digital partnering processes, bringing new ideas and solutions to the forefront.
  • Work within a global network of hubs to scale successful solutions and drive digital transformation.
  • Position the Digital Innovation Hub in the UK and other Northwest digital health ecosystem and act as a strategic sounding board for our global ecosystem integration objectives.
  • Curate information, distil insights, and disseminate knowledge throughout the organization, serving as a trusted advisor well-versed in business challenges and limitations.

You will act as a trusted advisor, sharing insights and understanding business challenges and constraints. In this role, you possess strong communication skills, enabling you to articulate and convey compelling messages to stakeholders across the business. By leveraging your robust communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will drive transformative change.

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is located already in the UK and has a proven experience in leading innovation initiatives and driving digital transformation within the pharmaceutical industry/ Medtech, with strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities. On top of what we would expect:

  • Understanding of the general digital health ecosystem and ability to navigate.
  • Understanding of business challenges and constraints, with experience in working with regional and local business units.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing opportunities and threats within emerging technologies.
  • Experience in developing relationships and working on high-profile cross-functional and multinational initiatives.
  • The eagerness and curiosity required to imagine and build something new.

As a person, you will demonstrate resiliency and strong leadership, with the ability to work cross-functionally, collaborating effectively with diverse parties and stakeholders. Fluency in English is essential for this role.

 

About the Department

The Digital Innovation Hub UK is a joint effort of Global Digital Data & IT, International Operations, and Region Northwest Europe, led by the Commercial Digital Strategy & Partnerships area in Novo Nordisk’s HQ in Denmark. Our team is dedicated to collaborating across our commercial organization to rewire, scale and digitalize the commercial value chain.  The atmosphere is dynamic and agile, with a strong focus on forward-looking initiatives and adaptability.
