Your impact begins here

As Portfolio Marketing Manager, you will lead HCP marketing for the portfolio across Peru, Ecuador and Uruguay. You will turn market insight into clear positioning and concrete plans, then take them from strategy to execution. With room to optimise the strategy and shape the tactical plan as the market evolves, you will help healthcare professionals access the right information and support people living with serious chronic diseases.

What you’ll bring

You are a marketer who is as comfortable setting direction as getting the details delivered.

  • A completed university degree, ideally in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Life Sciences or a related field.
  • Solid experience in brand or portfolio marketing, including building and steering strategy.
  • The ability to turn market insights into positioning plans and concrete actions.
  • Experience managing a budget and monitoring business performance, including sales and market share.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or OTC industry, especially working with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
  • Advanced English: you can present, write and hold professional conversations with confidence.
  • Strategic thinking and the drive to execute, with agility, ownership and accountability for results.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to innovate and experiment.

Useful, but not essential:

  • Experience in product launches.
  • Postgraduate training in marketing or business.

What you’ll do

You will own the HCP marketing strategy and its delivery for the portfolio, combining strategic choices with hands-on, end-to-end responsibility.

  • Define brand positioning, value propositions and key messages for the portfolio, using market research, competitive analysis and customer insights.
  • Build and adapt the tactical plan: define target segments, identify growth opportunities and local priorities, and adjust as the market evolves.
  • Develop HCP campaign briefs, promotional content and events, and support field readiness so plans reach customers.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, including sales and market share, spot gaps early and drive the actions that move results forward.
  • Manage the promotional budget and agency partners, and keep the operational processes running end to end, from purchase orders and event execution to invoice reconciliation and material approval.
  • Lead regular plan and performance reviews with Sales, Medical and other teams, turning findings into clear recommendations on the portfolio brand plan and strategy.
  •

Who you’ll work with

You will be part of the Cardiometabolic Marketing Department, reporting to the Marketing Head.  Your scope covers the Peru, Ecuador and Uruguay affiliate markets within the SAM organisation. You will work closely with Sales and Medical, and partner with Legal, Regulatory and Compliance to align evidence and messaging and secure approvals. You will also partner with Medical on evidence needs and with Access and Pricing on how we communicate value. Externally, you will brief and challenge materials and events agencies and hold them accountable for quality and results.

What you can expect here

You will work in a role where ownership is real: you shape the strategy, the plan and the results. You will be supported to perform at your best, trusted to make decisions, and encouraged to speak up and contribute your expertise. Clear performance expectations and a culture that rewards results mean your work is recognised.

The role spans strategy, commercial planning, budgets and cross-functional work across markets, giving you the chance to broaden your skills and grow with your colleagues, on the job and through relevant learning offerings.
