Your new role
As a Regional Medical Advisor, you will:
Establish and execute scientific communication strategies across clinical trial phases.
Provide input to clinical trials and Real-World Evidence (RWE) plans, driving Scientific Recruitment and Retention (SRR) activities.
Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and integrate patient voices through advisory boards.
Define and execute publication strategies, including RWE publications.
Deliver medical education to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) through scientific meetings, symposia, and strategic collaborations with Healthcare Professional Associations.
Educate and demonstrate the clinical outcomes and benefits of company products to thought leaders, medical groups, and health systems.
Identify and explore sites for clinical trials and coordinate continuing education workshops, seminars, and programs for healthcare professionals.
Respond to unsolicited inquiries about company products to enhance understanding of marketed products and related topics.
Your new department
This role is based in Ecuador, where you will join a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to improving patient outcomes. Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- Educational Requirements/Certifications:
- The individual must be a medical surgeon.
- Must have a specialty in Cardiometabolism, Endocrinology, Diabetology, or Internal Medicine.
- Critical/Essential Skills:
- More than 3 years of experience in primary care medicine.
- Intermediate English proficiency (conversational, literacy).
- Must reside in Guayaquil or be available to relocate, with a start date within one month.
- Resilience, a learning attitude, and openness to declining appointments are expected.
- Ability to generate scientific dialogue and explain molecules in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication, planning, organizational, and self-directed skills are required.
- Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry (Not mandatory).
- Recommendations from the sales team or medical advisor.
- Knowledge of the Puerto Viejo area, Manabí (Areas to work on).
