The Program

At Novo Nordisk, interns will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced industry professionals and gain valuable, hands-on, full-time work experience. For ten working weeks, in-terns will be immersed in the environment of a global pharmaceutical company and contribute to the line of business by providing sustainable and meaningful project work. Our internship pro-gram also includes instructor led trainings, a leadership engagement series, and a guided mentorship program to offer professional and personal development.

 

Program Start: June 2nd, 2025

Program End: August 15th, 2025

 

Scope of Position

RNAi Bioanalysis & ADME team in the Global Nucleic Acid Therapeutics (GNAT) division at Novo Nordisk Inc, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated current graduate student for its 2025 early talent summer internship program. The ideal applicant will have prior academic experience in liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) analysis, analytical problem-solving skills for assessing assay data and performance. Hands-on experience with biological sample preparation techniques (involving rodent tissue, plasma) with a focus on quantitative or qualitative LC-MS analysis would be a plus. Experience with nucleic acid therapeutics or other biologics would be preferred.

 

The intern will be part of early discovery ADME research involving hepatic and extra-hepatic targeting projects. This would include specialized sample handling, extraction and LC-MS method optimization. During the internship, the intern will have opportunities to present their learnings and results at group meetings.

Qualifications

  • Must be a current student enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing at least a bachelor’s degree
  • An in progress doctoral degree in Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Sciences, or a related discipline preferred
  • Strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effective-ly operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
  • Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
