The role is based in Kuwait and reports directly to the PAPA & Obesity Business Unit Director.
The Position
In this role you will be responsible for promoting and selling Novo Nordisk's Obesity products in Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. This role involves contacting specialists, physicians, pharmacies, and distributors within these territories, and executing sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
Among the main responsibilities:
- Implement and follow sales strategies to meet revenue targets, ensuring alignment with the company's overall sales objectives.
- Develop and sustain positive relationships with existing and new customers to generate future sales and repeat business.
- Research and identify prospective customers, assess their needs, and suggest appropriate products and services to generate new business opportunities.
- Address customer questions and concerns promptly, providing accurate information and solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate prices and delivery times within the limits of authority, conclude sales orders, and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
Qualifications
To be effective in this role, you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy or a related field.
- 3 years of people management experience in obesity or consumer field within pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Skilled in building and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive long-term partnerships and revenue growth.
- Proficient in managing territories, executing sales strategies, and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to convey product information, respond to inquiries, and secure beneficial agreements.
- Capable of conducting market research, analyzing customer needs, and resolving concerns to ensure satisfaction and optimal service delivery.
- Fluency in English.
About The Department
You will lead and coach the Obesity Business Unit field force employees based in Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, that are actively engaging with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to present and promote Novo Nordisk Obesity products in Gulf Emerging Market countries.
