Your new role
As the Regulatory Affairs (RA) & Pharmacovigilance (PV) Intern in Novo Nordisk Malaysia, you will work on smaller projects and daily operational tasks under one of the sub-departments. You will play a role in assisting the sub-department to achieve its goal by simplifying internal processes and to drive efficiency for others. This internship opportunity will give you the opportunity to develop skillsets that will be beneficial to your future career growth, such as Microsoft Office, project management, communication and working with others.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform daily pharmacovigilance checking on mysafety and myagree mailboxes for solicited and spontaneous AE/ADR cases and register the cases into IOCCS, CCGloW and internal PV tracker.
- Perform daily checking on the SOSUBM report received from GS on local and international Medical Device cases, and CIOMS report.
- Ensure internal PV tracker is being updated daily or/when there is any update in the information.
- Internship duration: minimum 6 months
- Working hours: Mondays to Fridays, 9am – 5pm (inclusive of lunch hour)
- Location: KL Sentral
- Internship allowance is given
Your new department
This role is part of the Clinical/Medical/Regulatory (CMR) Department at Novo Nordisk Malaysia. The department is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance for new products and product amendments, safeguarding patients, and ensuring medicines are safe to use. The team works on regulatory approvals, safety data analysis, and shaping future regulatory frameworks through collaboration with health authorities and policymakers. Together, we contribute to improving the lives of millions of people living with serious chronic diseases in Malaysia, where nearly 1 in 5 adults are diagnosed with diabetes. Your skills & qualifications
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate who possesses these qualifications:
- Undergraduates/graduates with bachelor’s or master’s degree in any science field or relevant field of study.
- A proactive mindset with a can-do attitude.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
- A keen interest in regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook (guidance on internal systems will be provided).
