About the department
You will join the Clinical, Medical, and Regulatory (CMR) department at Novo Nordisk Malaysia. We are a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to advancing medical science and improving patient outcomes. The Position
As a Medical Advisor, you will be a key scientific expert supporting internal and exter-nal stakeholders across our therapy areas. Your key responsibilities will include:
•    Drive scientific communication strategies and support clinical trial planning and execution, including Real-World Evidence (RWE) and Scientific Recruitment & Retention (SRR) initiatives.
•    Identify and build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and in-corporate the patient voice via advisory boards.
•    Define and execute publication strategies, including RWE publications and sci-entific platforms.
•    Deliver impactful medical education and training to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) through scientific meetings, symposia, and internal sessions.
•    Represent Novo Nordisk in key external engagements, including with Interna-tional Professional Associations (IPAs) and relevant stakeholders.

 

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
•    A degree in Medicine (MD) or an advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD).
•    3–5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within med-ical affairs or a related function.
•    Strong scientific and medical knowledge with the ability to interpret and com-municate complex data.
•    Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, KOL management, and scientific communication.
•    Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
