The Position

The role is expected to assist in the area of financial planning and analysis, which will involve preparing for periodic budgeting exercises, cost controlling, budget forecasting, and the preparation of reports.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Financial management, planning, and reporting: Coordinate and manage the preparation of the budget (RE & AB), outlook/forecast, and report variances. Appropriately flag deviations from expectations and identify corrective action where appropriate, oversee for month-end process and monthly reporting, conduct variance study to show how the budget and/or rolling forecast compares against actual performance, monitor functional spending, and assist cost center owners with cost tracking, issue resolutions and variance inspection for budgets and forecasts, and drive the implementation of PowerBI for reporting.
  • Financial Business partnering: Keep management teams informed about the financial development and prepare proposals of preventive and corrective actions if necessary to keep targets and requirements, identify when financial data and market study can help a strategic discussion and serve as a tool for efficient stance taking, ensure alignment between strategy and financial resource allocation, and be a visible financial business partner, take initiative to question business cases, operational procedures, and strategic conclusions.
  • Drive departmental and cross-functional projects: Identify opportunities to simplify and align processes and evaluate the potential for offshoring.
  • Contribute to a high-performing team: Ensure a high level of engagement in the team., contribute to a positive and attractive working environment within F&O (Finance & Operations) Team and affiliate. Also, act as a sparring partner to F&O Colleagues.

 

Qualifications

  • Financial/Business degree or professional qualifications, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the study & planning of tasks (Financial forecasting, budget planning, cost saving, etc.)
  • Global MNC experience (Matrix org structure) is preferred with openness to healthcare and FMCG industries in general
  • Proficiency in SAP BW experience, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good command of English (both written and oral)
  • Strong logical and problem-solving skills
